How long will my order take?

Our processing time is 1-5 business for ready made items and 1-3 weeks for custom orders. Our shipping time varies from 2-8 business days for domestic orders, 4-12 business days for US orders, and 4-20 business days for international orders.

Why is the processing time so long?

"We" is really a husband and wife team. Both of us have full-time jobs and 2 children to raise outside of Monte Monkey. We try really hard to process all orders in a timely manner. 

I need my order quicker than 1-3 weeks, can you help me? 

There is an option to pay an additional $10 to prioritize your order and it will be finished within the 1 week time frame. If you are looking for shipping upgrades please feel free to reach out via email info@montemonkey.com 

What are your toys painted/sealed/finished with?

All of our hand painted items are painted with a non-toxic water-based acrylic paint. Our dyed items are dyed with a non-toxic water-based dye. All items are sealed with a non-toxic water-based wood sealant unless otherwise noted. Most items are finished with a food safe beeswax and mineral oil. 

Are your items safe for mouthing?

While the materials we use are non-toxic, they are not safe for mouthing or ingestion. 

How do I take care of wooden toys?

Wooden toys have amazing antibacterial properties, meaning they don't need to be cleaned as often. Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild dish soap only as needed. Keep out of direct sunlight. Don't submerge in water. Getting wooden toys wet may cause the grain to raise, causing the surface of the toy to feel rough.

Is local pickup/delivery available?

Yes we offer free local pickup in Westmount, London On. or $5 delivery to postal codes within 10km of the n6k postal code.
