Montessori Egg and Cup Colour Matching
Montessori Egg and Cup Colour Matching
A colourful take on the classic Montessori egg and cup activity! The purpose of the Montessori Egg and Cup is to help babies learn to use both sides of their body together. As simple as this activity seems - babies love it! This set goes one step further and will also teach your little one their first colours. Once they have mastered their colours, you can add it their play kitchen. The perfect activity to grow with them. Great for colour matching + identification! A super fun spring themed activity.

This purchase is a good one.
These are beautiful - the quality of the eggs is excellent, and the colours are bright and exactly as pictured. My 1 3/4 toddler loved them - it made egg hunting really fun and satisfying because she could match the colours, and when all the cups were full, she knew she'd found them all. The eggs have flattened bottoms so they stand up on their own, which is very fun for this age - she's played with them a lot.
My one tiny quibble would be that the egg cups feel ever so slightly small for the eggs - it does feel like you're balancing the egg on the cup rather than snugly setting it in there. My kid goes back and forth on this - sometimes she seems frustrated that it's hard to get the eggs to stand up in the cups, and other times she puts in the work to balance them and seems really satisfied.
